The perspective of the review is to contribute to the scientific community with examples, tips, and details of modern development in the field of catalysis and with a complete illustration of the routes which may be effective for the planning of the ubiquitous C-H bond activation and its use for the synthesis of relevant organic molecules. Details are presented in the Review A Catalysis Guide Focusing on C-H Activation Processes by Renato L. Carvalho, Gleiston G. Dias, Cynthia L. M. Pereira, Pintu Ghosh, Debabrata Maiti and Eufrânio N. da Silva Júnior on page 917.

A C-H activation process represents one of the most advanced tool in the field of organic synthesis nowadays, and it requires knowledge that should be studied and learned. Therefore, carrying out a C-H activation reaction in the right direction, following the right steps, can improve its performance and guarantee plausible results.

Novel series of organotin(IV) complexes has been prepared with new β-amino acid derivatives. The characterization of these compounds was accomplished by elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), nuclear magnetic resonance (1H, 13C, 119Sn) spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and molecular docking studies. The in vitro antibacterial, antioxidant and in vivo hypoglycemic screening on rabbits were also carried out.
